what have you been up to?
So many things since last time we spoke (lockdown!)
I have still been photographing full- time and I've just wrapped up another amazing wedding season for the year and planning my own for 2026! I bought a clothing label named Mane which we stock at Found & I had a baby! His name is Basil & he’s almost one now.
What's important to you when dressing in Winter?
Not losing the fun in outfits! Sometimes we can get caught up in keeping warm & we lose the coolness of our 'fits. I love layering, mixing new season with past collections or second hand.
What's your #1 pick from Found that you think everyone should have in their wardrobe?
Utah denim
Ahhh I love my outland denim Utah jeans! They’ve just come out in a black which are slightly longer too. They are a bit like a barrel leg and come in more around the bottom of the ankle which is super flattering. They go with everything too (and I notoriously hate wearing jeans).
What's your go to outfit when you want to get out the door quick?
A long skirt with boots or sneakers + a baggy tee and a mesh under. This has been my go to for years. If you see me wearing this, you know I’m being lazy. But I always feel cool.
ANY STYLE RULES YOU LIVE BY?
Just don’t be boring! Fashion should be fun & an extra way of showcasing your creativity. It’s always better to be overdressed than underdressed.
Describe your perfect day in Hamilton?
Take a walk to the beautiful new bridge (iykyk) walk my dog all the way down the river from the Hamilton Gardens to Hayes Common. Stop for coffee #1 & a play with my son on the playground. Continue to walk the river all the way up to Made. #2 coffee at Grey St in The sheds. Wander aimlessly through Made. Have a nap. Wake up, dinner at Mr Pickles. Drinks at Wonder Horse then hopefully Nivara Lounge has an 80s dance party or something on like last weekend!
Lastly who's your favourite influencer or who you look to for style inspiration?
Laura Elizabeth is my current influencer crush at the moment. Maybe because she has ginger hair too? She’s got the coolest style. I love when people mix feminine with classically masculine pieces.
